Reporter

We’re looking for a Junior Reporter to join our Singapore editorial team. Citywire is a global financial publisher with over 60 journalists across the UK, Europe, the US, South Africa, and Asia, and our Singapore hub leads coverage of private banking, wealth management, and asset management in the region, supported by our proprietary data and analysis.

At Citywire, collaboration and positivity are at the heart of how we work. We’re seeking an enthusiastic and organised journalist who is eager to produce both breaking news and in-depth features, while building strong relationships with senior industry contacts.

What you’ll be doing:

• Reporting and writing daily for Citywire Asia (https://citywire.com/asia), covering private banking, wealth management, family offices, and public & private markets.
• Generating original stories, sourcing ideas, and securing interviews with senior executives.
• Attending industry conferences and Citywire Asia events to develop stories and deepen market insight.

What we’re looking for:

• Experience: Journalism experience is a bonus but not essential.
• Communication & Relationship Building: Able to build rapport with colleagues and senior industry contacts.
• Curiosity & Expertise: Inquisitive, eager to learn, and committed to developing deep knowledge of financial markets.
• Self-Starter: Able to work independently, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines.
