Location: Frankfurt am Main with monthly visits to our Munich office (every other week) and to our London office. Annual travel card for rail (BahnCard 100) provided as part of the package.
This role will be based in or near Frankfurt am Main (Germany). You will be expected to establish and maintain engagements with clients representing international asset managers in Germany as well as local asset management companies. You will travel to our Munich and London offices regularly to work with the delivery teams
The successful candidate will grow and extend our commercial relationships with asset managers in Germany and Austria.
We are essentially looking for someone who can make connections and build rapports with people. If you can listen to clients, develop projects, hit targets and are driven to push the business forward, you could well be an ideal fit for the role.
What you’ll be doing
This is a fantastic role for a bright, ambitious Salesperson looking to start and develop a career in the exciting field of media sales.
You will enjoy a varied role, being responsible for the day to day management of display advertising and digital content revenue for our German website and magazine.
Their goal will be to grow clients’ revenue. This will involve developing an in-depth knowledge of each client’s products, performance, strategy, distribution, competition and where they sit in the wider market context.
They will be in frequent contact with the editorial and operational teams to learn about the audience and develop propositions. We’re looking for articulate and self-motivated account managers who love to engage with people and build meaningful relationships.
What we’re looking for
Proficient or native level German language and good English language skills. (must)
Previous experience in sales or sales related roles.
Must be a tenacious individual who thrives on competition.
Relationship building will be second nature to the successful candidate and they will enjoy meeting people and influencing their behaviour.
Superb organisational skills and ability to work under pressure.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to get timely and accurate results.
Flexible attitude and able to adapt to changing priorities and business needs.
Media and digital/website sales knowledge and experience ideal but not essential.
